About us
Building Bridges of Gujarati Culture
To be the heart and soul of the Gujarati cultural and literary experience in New Zealand — preserving our roots, inspiring creativity, and building a vibrant, intergenerational community through language, arts, and heritage.

Our Goals
GSMNZ’s goals are centered around cultural preservation, community engagement, and creative innovation. By nurturing literary excellence, celebrating performing arts, and empowering youth participation, GSMNZ aims to:
- Promote the Gujarati language and literature through interactive, educational, and creative initiatives.
- Celebrate and evolve Gujarati performing arts (theatre, music, dance) by showcasing both traditional and contemporary forms.
- Build a strong, connected Gujarati community by organizing inclusive, high-impact cultural experiences across age groups.
- Bridge generational and geographical gaps by leveraging technology and collaboration with global Gujarati networks.
EDUCATE. EMPOWER. ENTERTAIN.
